Great news from FetchTV! From today you will be able to get your FetchTV SmartBox 8000's from Carphone Warehouse Digital Lifestlye Stores. The first store to get boxes is the flagship wireless store in Westfield in London, with more stores coming available later this momth.

Even more fantastic content will soon be available on your FetchTV SmartBox with a new deal between IP Vision and Sky to make Sky's online TV service, Sky Player, available via IP Vision's FetchTV devices.

From early 2010 FetchTV customers will be able to receive some of Sky's most popular channels, including Sly Movies, Sky Sports and a range of general entertainment channels, through FetchTV's broadband enabled set-top boxes including the SmartBox 7000 and the SmartBox 8000.

FetchTV signs movie deal with Disney!

FetchTV's parent company, IP Vision have signed an exciting deal with Disney-ABC-ESPN Television to provide movie content on the FetchTV platform.

The deal covers premium movies including current releases such as Walt Disney Pictures' "Bedtime Stories" with Adam Sandler and Miramax Films "Doubt" starring Meryle Streep. There is also a wealth of library titles available including Walt Disney Pictures' "Porates of the Caribbean: Cures of the Black Pearl", "Calendar Girls" and "Signs" from Touchstone Pictures, and Miramax Films' "The English Patient"

New movies cost £3.49 for 24 hours and library movies cost £1.99 for 24 hours.
